Sable Vault support

Your vault is stored on your device. You do not need a Sable account to save or open files. Unlock uses your device’s authentication. Purchases, restoring subscriptions, and downloading originals from a cloud file provider require internet access. There is no Sable cloud backup or sync.

Unlock the vault, choose the relevant import option, then select items in Photos or Files. Imported videos appear in the Videos area. Sable creates independent copies; your originals stay where they are. A cloud provider may need to download a selected original first.

Yes, a successfully completed import creates an independent local copy. Verify that it opens or exports correctly before changing an original. This test version should not be your only copy of important material because it has no backup or recovery.

Free allows one photo, one video, and one other file, up to 25 MB each. PDFs, audio, documents, and other formats share the one-file slot. Items in Trash still count.

Sable Plus removes Sable’s item-count and import-size limits. Capacity depends on available device storage, including room for encrypted copies and temporary transfers. Plus does not add phone storage or cloud backup. The intended U.S. plan is $5.99 per month; Apple’s purchase screen shows the price and renewal terms before you buy.

Saved items remain available to open and export. Sable does not delete them because a subscription expires or is refunded. New imports return to the free allowance.

Open Your Plan in the app and choose Restore Purchases using the Apple Account that made the purchase. Internet access is required. To cancel, open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Sable Plus, then choose the available cancellation option. See Apple’s subscription instructions. Deleting the app does not cancel billing.

If a purchase is pending approval, wait for Apple’s decision. For billing or refund requests, use Apple’s support and purchase tools. Do not email us card details or verification codes.

Playback and previews depend on the format and device. Some large documents can be stored and exported without an in-app preview. Confirm there is enough free storage for temporary working copies. Avoid uninstalling the app to troubleshoot; that can remove the local vault.

Export saves an unencrypted copy in a location you choose. The destination app or cloud provider may retain or upload that copy. Moving an item to Trash is reversible and does not permanently delete it. The current version has no command to permanently delete individual items.

No. The device-only key is not sent to us. Losing it, removing your device passcode, uninstalling the app, or erasing the device can make files unavailable. Export and verify copies while you still have access. Do not remove the app, reset your passcode, or erase the device as a troubleshooting step.
